A much-needed facelift is well-underway at Taylor, giving new life to our main public spaces.
The worn and damaged carpet in the Taylor Commons has been replaced with tile and carpet, and the walls have been transformed with new modern colours. Important repairs are also being made to the ceilings and the roof, tending to some leaks that became more significant this spring.
Another small but important change is the removal of an oversized brick pillar in the Commons, which significantly adds to the usability of the space by improving sight lines.
These improvements are the first significant upgrades since the building was constructed in the 1990's. The work is scheduled to be finished before students return to classes on September 4th.
