George Cuff, who served as a member of the Taylor Board of Trustees from 2000-2007, has been honored by his alma mater with a major award.

The University of Alberta presented George with the Alumni Honour Award at a ceremony on the U of A campus on September 18th, one of 18 honourees for 2014. 

George Cuff served on the Taylor board during a season of significant change and development, including the launch of the University College. George is a consultant and author who is best-known for his expertise in the area of municipal governance. A four-term mayor of Spruce Grove, he is also a former head of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association and of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. 

George and his wife continue to serve in various ways, including through their support of a children's camp in Romania.
