A "modular course" allows students to attend all of their classes in a short period of time (usually 1-2 weeks), while a "hybrid course "generally combines modular classroom instruction with another learning component (i.e., online). These options provide a traditional classroom experience in a format that the typical adult learner finds convenient and practical.
