There are currently 2 opportunities for students to develop their musical gifts through performance classes. These choirs are great fun and offer significant value, and public performances are well attended.
The Taylor Flute Ensemble is a 32-week program starting on September 12th. The ensemble is conducted by flautist Dorie Gold with rehearsals taking place in Studio D of the Conservatory on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
The cost to participate is $340 for the year. The fee includes two concert performances, all music and a music folder.
This exciting opportunity to participate in a community flute choir is open to beginner and intermediate adults.

Whirlwinds Junior Flute Ensemble runs from September 14th through May 24th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in Studio D at the conservatory.
This group is for children ages 10 to 14; learn to play in an ensemble setting and gain experience performing in a group!
Each player must be able to play a B-flat scale and read dotted-eighth rhythms.
Cost for the year is $340 and includes 32 rehearsals, 2 concerts, all music and a music folder.
